Emi & Nairi — An intimate celebration in Armenia’s dramatic landscapes
This editorial shoot was built around contrast: white silk against black volcanic earth, ancient stone against a modern, sculptural silhouette.
I photographed Emi and Nairi in Armenia’s dramatic landscapes, moving between dark layered slopes and the ruins of an old stone church.
Emi wore an off-shoulder corseted gown by Antagonist with black leather opera gloves, and Nairi an oversized black suit by Artem Midda. Black cubes scattered across the landscape gave the scenes a minimal, almost theatrical feel.
It was a chance to push the editorial side of my work while keeping what matters most in any wedding: two people, close together, in a place that feels like no other.
